Safari Stan's Children's Charities by Petland
Launched in 1994, this charity program supports children through two major organizations. Since 1998, Petland has helped grant over 850 pet-related wishes in partnership with the Make-A-Wish Foundation of America.
Petland also proudly supports St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, collecting over $1.2 million across thirteen years and counting to advance childhood cancer research and care.
Pet Therapy Visits
Our pet therapy program brings the comfort of animals to young children and the elderly across our communities. Petland occasionally takes some of our pets on visits to schools and nursing homes, creating meaningful moments of animal-and-human bonding.

Pets in the Classroom
Run by the Pet Care Trust, with Petland as an active member, this program raises funds to help teachers purchase pets and pet-related supplies for their classrooms. The goal is to foster a healthy, caring relationship between kids and animals from an early age.

Petland takes in homeless pets from a variety of sources, including pet rescue groups, local animal shelters, and owners with more pets than they can properly care for. Our counselors work hand-in-hand with welfare groups to find loving, satisfactory homes for these animals.
