The puppy warranted by Petland Pensacola (Petland) to the original purchaser, in accordance with Florida law section 828.29, to receive a certificate of inspection with each puppy.. Such a certificate shall list all vaccines and deworming medications administered to the puppy and show that the puppy was examined by a Florida licensed veterinarian who has certifies that to the best of his/her knowledge, the pet was found to have been healthy at the time of veterinary examination.
During the 14 days, following the purchase, should a veterinarian certify that, at the time of purchase, the puppy was unfit for purchase due to illness or disease, or the presence of symptoms of a contagious or infectious disease, any of these conditions not having been disclosed to you at the time of purchase, you must notify your Petland retailer within (2) business days. Written certification from a veterinarian must be presented to this retailer no later than (3) business days following the receipt thereof. A puppy is not determined unfit for sale on account of an injury sustained or illness contracted after a customer takes possession of the puppy, or for any condition disclosed at the time of purchase. A veterinary finding of intestinal or external parasites is not grounds for declaring a dog unfit for sale unless the pet is clinically ill because of that condition.
